What is Scoliosis?
A condition where the spine curves sideways in an “S” or “C” shape instead of staying straight.
How Does It Happen?
It may develop during growth (especially in teenagers), due to congenital spine issues, nerve–muscle disorders, or sometimes with no clear cause (idiopathic).
What Problems Can It Cause?
Uneven shoulders or hips, back pain, fatigue, and in severe cases, breathing difficulty.
How Is It Treated?
Treatment depends on age and curve severity—options include observation, bracing, physiotherapy, and advanced spine surgery for larger curves.
