I was suffering from spinal infection in spine and was not been diagnosed at many centres . We took a second opinion from Dr Ajay Kothari consultant spine specialist and unit head at Sancheti Hospital Pune. After detailed examination and reviewing all the reports Dr. Ajay Kothari decided to do a small biopsy and treated the infection with antibiotics without any surgery.Very happy because surgery was avoided.

I was operated by Dr Ajay Kothari at Sancheti Hospital Pune during Covid pandemic and strict lock down. Timely surgery help me to save my life and also helped regain complete power in both upper limbs and lower limbs. If I would not received timely treatment I would add landed up with a permanent paralysis . Thank you.

I am 28-year-old. I had severe tail bone pain for last many years. I took all possible treatment in the form of physical therapy ayurveda and homeopathy ,coccyx pillow medicines but no relief at all .I am software engineer and have the desk job . Main problem was pain while sitting and pain while getting up so any hard surface. I had sitting problem. He advised me treatment in the form of coccyx manipulation which is a non-surgical treatment in which the tailbone which is Angulated is straightened out by manipulation treatment and once the axis of the tailbone gets corrected. I am 70-year-old.. I had a spinal fracture during lock down and got admitted at Sancheti Hospital Pune under the care of Dr Ajay Kothari consultant Spine specialist and unit head at Sancheti Hospital Pune. I advised surgery everywhere by doctors in various hospital. Dr Ajay Kothari on seeing all my x-rays MRIs and examining me clinically decided to treat nonsurgical Lee . He gave me rest a newer brace and strong anti-osteoporotic injections and here you can see after a month showing complete recovery.

"Passionate about work and Compassionate about people!!" This is Sonali, working as Senior Software Engineer in one of the IT giant in Pune. Here I am throwing some lights on my great experience with one of the best Spine Surgeon, Dr. Ajay Kothari from Sancheti Hospital Pune. I have been consulting to Dr. Ajay Kothari for Lumbar Wedge Compression Fracture. I still remember the day on which I had hard fall incident and was in very bad pain. So initially for time being I consulted to one of the hospital nearby me, however I was not getting that confidence and better relief. Then with my one of the friend’s reference I heard about Dr. Ajay Kothari. Immediately I visited him as I was in very much of back pain due to fall injury. As soon as I connected with him, very first he helped me to relieve my worries with his soft spoken words, “You will be fine very soon and could return back to regular routine as before”. This was the trigger point where I got half of the relief and the confidence. Then with his precise diagnosis and treatment, in couple of days only I started feeling better. I age 61 had fallen from bike and had angilino spondalysis with pressed nerve was not able to move at all surgery was done by dr ajay kothari he fixed 3 plates and 16 screws in my spinal cord , started walking immediately with walker within a month now its 6 months i am able to do all routine work can walk without any support thanks to dr ajay kothari for operation and our consultant mr yash bhaulikar for suggesting us to operate with dr ajay kothari

It was a fantastic recovery and experience at Sancheti Hospital - Shivaji Nagar at Pune. Doctors work without egos and personally visit every patient daily to personally check on everything around you. I came with a hopeless leg ache and a broken heart as being an athletic person, I thought this was an end. In 2 days post spine surgery I am up and finely walking. I am assured will run and hike soon too. Thank you Dr Parag Sancheti, Dr Ajay Kothari, Dr Ankita-my physiotherapist and Dr Jayesh for being there through tough times. You made me feel at home.
