Miss. Vaibhavi Kadam age 9-year-old hailing from Jalna – Maharashtra studying in 4 the standard was first noticed with spinal deformity by her mother 3 years back while playing. They consulted various spine surgeons regarding the problem.
The patient visited Dr Ajay Kothari Spine Surgeon in Pune 3 years back when they were advised brace and exercises to prevent further deformity. The patient came to follow up with Dr Ajay Kothari every 6 months. On each visit, exercises level was increased, but her spinal deformity angle was progressively increasing year by year, for which spinal deformity correction was performed. Surgery was uneventful.
The patient was made to stand on the next day and is going to school with resumed normal life after 1 month.
