In Scoliosis awareness month of 2022, A webinar was arranged to spread awareness about Scoliosis. Dr. Ajay Kothari (Spine Expert Pune) explained Scoliosis. It is a spinal deformity. It's easy to treat if its diagnosed early. Many times. late in diagnosis makes complications worst. Dr. Ajay explained by giving an example of the famous movie character 'Pushpa'. Scoliosis affects 2 to 3 percent of population worldwide and 3 to 4 percent in India which means 40 million individuals in india suffers from this. We have observed that it's more observed in females.

Causes of Scoliosis:

  • Spine Tumor.
  • Infection.
  • Cerebral Palsy.
